Chicken Skewers Seasoned with Sweet Paprika

Ingredients 

  • 2kgs diced chicken (cut into 1 inch thick cubes) 
  • 2 tablespoons salt 
  • 2 tablespoons pepper 
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika 
  • 2 tablespoons oregano

Preparation:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and let the mixture rest for an hour before threading the chicken onto skewers.
  • Place the skewers on top of a layer of charcoal to cook.
  • If you don’t have a motorized rotisserie, cooking the skewers over a charcoal barbecue is also acceptable.
  • Ensure to turn them over every 5 minutes.”

Cook time:

  • Approximately 10 minutes

To achieve a richer smoky taste in your dishes, it is recommended to cook them using mallee root charcoal instead of a gas grill.
